OVERVIEW
Our Preschool has a sincere desire to prepare your preschool child (age 3 to 5) for Kindergarten.
Our Preschool provides:
• a balanced program of play, music, socialization, computer technology, and academics
• a safe, large outdoor play area with new equipment
• plenty of room to enjoy and explore the outdoors
• large indoor play area available
Children discover the world around them through hands-on play at St. John's Preschool. Our experienced and dedicated staff nurtures each child's intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
Our Preschool is open to the public — serving families of all denominations.
CURRICULUM
Our Curriculum is based upon the Bible and the children's natural curiosity about the world in which they live. This is presented through theme units in which teachers plan and organize developmentally appropriate early childhood activities. These activities are presented to the children through the following hands-on learning centers: Art, Math, Science, Library, Block, Dramatic Play, Writing Center, Listening Center, Computer Center, and the Discover Table.
CLASS SIZES
Class sizes are limited to 15 children with two educationally qualified teachers in each classroom. This exceptional teacher/child ratio allows our staff to be more closely aware of your child's development. This, in turn, allows us to offer more individualized educational learning.

REGISTRATION
Any child who is 3 or 4 and toilet trained may register for our program. Since class sizes are limited, registration is on a first-come first-served basis. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

St. John's Preschool is a DCFS-licensed preschool program that offers children ages 3 to 5 a unique Christian educational experience. The staff is exceptional! All teachers are educated, experienced professionals, dedicated to making children's first school experience a happy learning adventure!
