OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our Philosophy
At St. John's Preschool we believe that children's growth is achieved and accomplished through developmental stages. By offering opportunities for individual growth, development, and problem-solving through hands-on play and activities, children discover and understand the world around them.
OUR GOALS
Our Goals
Our goal is to help nurture your child's positive self-image through many experiences in a Christ-centered environment. In this Christian setting we believe we can provide rich, educational experiences with an emphasis on your child's intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth.
OUR TEACHERS
Our Teachers

The teachers at St. John's Preschool are extremely experienced and educated in Early Childhood Education and Development. Continuing Education enables us to be prepared for the modern expectations of today's parents. Meeting all licensing standards established by the Department of Children and Family Services, along with our dedication, ensures our ability to prepare and educate your child to the highest of standards. Your child's health and welfare are the most important of our goals. Our teachers are also trained in CPR and in First Aid.
CURRICULUM
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on the Bible and on the children's natural curiosity about the world in which they live. This is presented through theme units in which teachers plan and organize developmentally appropriate early childhood activities, often with the children helping to decide in what direction an activity may go. These activities are presented to the children through the following hands-on learning centers:
Art Science Blocks Writing Computer Music |
Math Library Dramatic Play Listening Center Discovery Table Cognitive |
